This is a terrible place to live. The day before I moved out one of my neighbors puked 🤮 in the hallway. I called the office and Chris (from the office) let it sit there for 24+ hours without being cleaned up. We’re in the middle of a Global Pandemic and that was inside of someone’s body. Really not happy that I had to move all of my belongings out of the building stepping over puke as I went. They also shut the water off multiple times a week which is horribly inconvenient. Just go live somewhere else.
Living at this place is fine, but it feels like you're constantly being nickel and dimed. During COVID they removed plenty of amenities and didn't give any discount to rent. They try to get you to sign leases a full year in advance by essentially threatening to switch your room and raise rent if you don't sign fast enough. What makes that so insulting is that they will not let you out of your lease unless you sub-let, which will cost you a ridiculous amount in BS fees (if you can even find somebody). DO NOT LIVE HERE. This has been one of the most stressful semester, not due to school, but due to the inhumane living conditions offered here. We have recorded temperatures in out apartment of up to 100 degrees. Our fridge is broken, our sink is broken, our shower is broken. Everything smells like mold from the heat. Maintenance is nothing but rude and unhelpful when we called. The supervisor will not call me back and when I go to the office they keep referring me to the elusive manager. Good stuff: The nicer apartment is comparing to some apartment complex around the area. Some younger staff at the office are friendly and helpful, free coffee. Horrible Facts: Slow maintenance service, terribly delayed response from the customer service or no response at all to your problems. AC sucks. There is no accumulation policy to the rent when you move in the middle of the month. Washing machines are a nightmare - every time is broken. the AC has been out for weeks and they don’t seem to be in any rush to fix it. the residents are miserable but don’t worry, the leasing office is ice cold! Steer clear if you can.
It was really good until your air conditioner broke and everyone has been miserable. I bet ratings would go up if you offered those without air a break in their rent for the month. Why does the office in the same building have air??
AC has been broken for almost a week and Riverpark seems to be in no rush to get it fixed. It’s great coming home from classes to a 95 degree apartment. Location is great but I would rather have a cool apartment than a close apartment.
