I have been living here for a few months now and my apartment is fantastic! I have a one bedroom furnished and it's a perfect fit! It was ready upon move in day: very clean, no bugs, Cable and internet working, and all my furniture was there! The location is so close to campus and the staff is very friendly! Plus they send you notifications when you get packages rather than having them left on your doorstep! Resident life here is very fun, thy host several events each month :) I highly recommend living here.
This place is ridiculous! My daughters were shown a model that really misrepresent their leased apartment. Move in day was Wednesday, and classes started the next day, Thursday. It is supposed to furnished....not ready. Wifi and cable included in rent....not working. Microwave in kitchen....broken. My husband and I talked to management on Wednesday...daughters have been by 3 times. I called today and had my second conversation with Angela. It still isn't right as management told me it would be. SO MANY RATS. Cockroaches, creaky stairs, loud neighbors, AC is the worst, no overhead lighting, parking is inconvenient, no windows and a staff that really seems to not care there are rotting rats in the walls.
The location cannot be beat, and the maintenance here is lightning fast.
The staff at River Mill changed in a very positive way in the last few months. There are a lot of great events the staff puts on to create a community environment. I love the Grocery Bingo! If you are a student or work downtown this is a great location.
River Mill has been a perfect home for me this past year. You can't get this location with this price anywhere else! Not having to worry about a parking pass for class or game days is invaluable.
