I have really enjoyed living at River Mill. The location is amazing, so so so convenient to campus and downtown Athens, it's definitely the best part of living here. Maintenance requests are taken care of promptly and the front desk staff is very friendly and accommodating. I live on the second floor, in the building farthest from the river and have had minimum problems with bugs. I enjoy living at River Mill! It is so close to campus, and I can walk to campus in about five minutes. Also, the staff here are all very friendly and willing to help in anyway they can. I have had some maintenance issues throughout this past semester I have lived here, but they have all been taken care of in a timely matter. I renewed my lease to live here next year!

Honestly yes this is close to campus, but if you ever have problems River Mill is the worst place to live they refuse to take care of the bug problem current i have having serious problems with a roommate and they have done absolutely NOTHING for me. management really doesn't care as long as their getting rent. i'm paying rent there and don't even feel comfortable in my own apartment.
The location is pretty unbeatable, even though it is a little pricey. It's really close to campus and any bus you need. The gym isn't the best but it gets the job done when you can't go to Ramsey. Also the staff are all really nice and have always been available when I needed!
River Mill is in the best possible location for a very reasonable price. It's an older complex, but new renovations happen annually so the apartments are nice. I love my balcony and I have a fantastic view! I only have a 5 minute walk to class every morning. Plus all utilities except for power are included in my rent, so that's a plus. I have already renewed my lease for next year! 😊
One semester is about to end and I still can't find a single reason to complain about! Really� The staff members are super friendly, sweet and quite quick to respond. Overall the community has a nice vibes around it and very much close to tate center that gives access to any bus around the campus! Love you River Mill!
DO NOT LIVE HERE UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES!! One of the worst possible options! You would be better off in a tent. The apartments are crap, except for the model that they will show you. They do not maintain the buildings at all. If you have a maintenance need, they come after taking their sweet time and they do the cheapest crappiest fixes that do not really fix the problem. For example they didn't use drop clothes when they repainted the walls so the floors got drops all over them. The management is terrible and unorganized. ... read more
