The renovations are amazing, place looks great. Many familiar faces still there. Food was just OK, and the wait staff still needs to work out some of the kinks.
Restaurant just opened after getting a brand new facelift. Decided to come for breakfast today (Sunday) Unfortunately, there was a huge wait due to some politician. All those people got seated in another room. However the rest of the restaurant had many empty tables, and they refused sit their customers. So disappointed. Won't be coming back.
So happy the the Diner is open again. It's back and better than ever! The staff beyond exceeds expectations with their readiness to ensure you have a wonderful experience. The bar is great, and has a GREAT selection to appeal to just about everyone's taste. The food is amazing, the atmosphere is definitely something wonderful to experience. This is definitely my go to place whenever I'm hungry!
The renovation is fantastic. Really nice updates with a great bar and high top tables! A wait of a half hour yesterday evening despite many open tables... The staff seemed overwhelmed and our waiter had trouble with our order at times, but they are hiring more waitstaff. Those working last night were friendly and doing their best. The food overall presented and tasted better (I heard a new chef?) and it felt "less diner, more restaurant" in my humble opinion. We will definitely return.
