Building a community of fiber artists one stitch at a time. We're a yarn shop located in Lakewood, Oh. We love to find the newest indie dyers and share them with you while still stocking our old-time favorites. Our goal is to offer a complete color palette when stocking good basic yarns. There is no perfect yarn, just the best yarn for the project and the crafter making it. The River Colors Studio staff love yarn (and needles and hooks and bags and spinning fiber) as much as you do and want to share our passion with you.

I love this shop. They have a lovely variety of specialty yarns as well as good work horse yarns. They have a good selection of needles and accessories and just fun stuff. Love them!
Impressive selection, supportive clientele, everyone from owner to staff very helpful, friendly, creative. Comfortable work areas. And a bakery next door. Can't miss.
I ordered from River Colors Studio online early Tuesday morning and accidentally ordered the wrong thing. I emailed and by the time I woke up they had responded telling me they would correct my order. Then it shipped out that day and arrived to me TWO DAYS later on Thursday afternoon. Amazing! Will definitely buy again.
The studio is so inviting and the staff very good at what they do and I like that they offer classes for everyone's knitting needs . Can't wait to take the Toe Up Sock classes and Reading Charts! Only wish they were closer to home but well worth the drive in and the kicker is Blackbird Bakery is right around the corner , scones and coffee can't get any better than that LOL
I am so lucky to have this LYS so close to my home. Love the wonderful selection of yarns! The staff is very friendly and helpful! My go to when I need a yarn fix!
