Beautiful yet practical wheels of joy. Distinctive details by the Master.
I have seven bikes, Trek, Salsa, Surly, Raleigh, Soma, Bridgestone and the most comfortable - my 2007 Rivendell Atlantis. I like them all, but the Atlantis fits me best.
Rivendell bikes is a great place for old school style touring bikes and hard to fine components with some weird stuff thrown in. I really liked Bike Book and Ax store they had in downtown Walnut Creek they carried some unusual stuff in their that couldn't find ells were, I had bought number of things their like a two legged kickstand, a shirt, wooden toys for my grandson and number of other things. I understand that they have closed that store now and only have the warehouse store on North Main street now.
A great source of frames and components that work with out drama!
I only found about Rivendell through Rich's Hands On Wheels sight, but so far I am very impressed. Rich and Rivendell really took care of me getting a new real wheel when the one I got from another local store lasted only a few months. I like the way they focus on durability--right up my alley.
I ride my Betty always. It's the most comfortable riding bike there is! Yeah for Rive!
