Highest quality, hand-built bicycles that please for a lifetime
Beautiful, well-made and -designed, common-sense bikes. And, check this out: Grant has been saying this for years. Maybe he's right! https://www.outsideonline.com/…/carbon-fiber-bike-accidents…
Truly practical cycling, putting the fun back into the ride.

Nothing like a well-designed and fitted steel-frame bike in these rough hills and roads. I just completed a big loop on my new bike with its triple chainring and wider tires in a similar time to my lighter titanium-frame bike, with greater confidence in the curvy descents and comfort throughout. Looking forward to great long rides this spring - thanks for the fine bike, Rivendell team.
“Have nothing in your house that you do not know to be useful, or believe to be beautiful.” ― William Morris Well, I can this much about the Rivendell bicycles in my house. (And about the Bridgestone RB-T too!) Talking and working with anyone at this company is a pleasure, and the bicycles--currently a Sam, a Legolas, and a proto-Saluki (Curt Goodrich built)--draw admiration everywhere I ride them. Useful and beautiful, indeed. Thanks, Grant and company!
