They love overcharging for HOA which is supposed to include common area upkeep (MOWING), making sure sidewalks are usable, the pool areas are clean, etc. However, common areas were only mowed a couple times throughout the entire summer, lots/empty spaces were NEVER mowed, (they looked terrible), trees weren’t kept trimmed, and sidewalks got so bad they weren’t usable in some areas. I absolutely love our home and in the last 5 years our neighborhood has grown and we are fortunate to have such wonderful neighbors who quickly became close friends. However, I would strongly encourage you to request a copy of the HOA prior to actually purchasing a home in the Ritchie Development.
