Outstanding service! I was treated on 6/15. Before, during and after my visit they delivered excellent service: 1) Front Desk Manager Nicole Ross: Her friendliness and professionalism made my entire experience smooth and efficient; 2) Teamwork & responsiveness: The team quickly and holistically examined me, like a SWAT team of professionals. Mid-visit, they quickly retook a photo and Dr. Ritch called my Chicago doctor to obtain missing records. Elsewhere, this would have taken days

When attempting to request a new patient second opinion with Dr. Robert Ritch office it was not a good experience. I was advised a new visit request had to be submitted via e-mail and that the person would contact me back. Me not being aware of how the practice works; I contacted them after an hour of sending the e-mail, and was met with as very condescending response. Not only was I told I was not giving his administrative assistant enough notice for a world renowned surgeon, and how busy s

I saw Dr. Ritch for a second opinion regarding my severe glaucoma. Dr. Ritch had numerous specific recommendations. He promptly sent out a detailed letter to my doctor. His recommendations made a difference in my treatment plan. After the consultation, he remained highly accessible via e-mail. Dr. Ritch is clearly very dedicated to his patients, and in fact to improving glaucoma care for everyone through research and other activities. I feel very fortunate to benefit from his expertise.

One of the most unpleasant experiences I've had at a doctor's office. No consideration for the patient. Seemed more interested in whether a "princess" was keeping an appointment that day. Rude to his staff. Yelled at them repeatedly. I waited in an examining room for over an hour for his final comments which turned out to be I had to see a retinologist.
