From the minute we walked in, it had an old Italian look and feel. Luis our server was excellent. The food, wine and whole atmosphere felt like you were right at home. I was very pleased with service and would recommend this place to anyone who is looking for a great Italian restaurant. An added plus, was when the owner himself took my coat to hold for me. I love Italian cuisines.

We were early for our reservation and was seated immediately. Our waitress, Erin, was very attentive and polite. The Osso-Bucco was devine. It was our first time there and we will definitely be back.

Lunch with my school mates, food was excellent, service was great and the prices reasonable. I would go back in a minute.
First time at Bottaio, and very pleased! Wonderful service and ambiance. We felt like we were back in Italy with the menu. There were three of us in our party, and we all loved our meals. We will definitely make it a must-stop for our next visit to Libertyville!

My son and his fiancée took me out to dinner to celebrate my birthday. The service was impeccable and the food was outstanding, tasty and creatively presented. Our waiter was especially knowledgeable, courteous and attentive. When we demurred on dessert, my son protested about it being my birthday, which prompted our waiter to offer up a complimentary delicious slice of tiramisu cake. Just a pleasant surprise. Will definitely be back. Highly recommended!
