Rio Border Cafe is Pretty Decent It seems there are three types of Mexican Restaurants around here. One's that are heavy on the decor and kitch but not so great on flavor, fast food dives that are tasteless or upscale places that seem too expensive for mexican. Rio Border is right in the middle. It's a bit kitchy in the decor, but the food is above average. It's located in a not so great area - in a shopping plaza off the beaten path. Prices are reasonable.
BEST Mexican food I have eaten all kind of Mexican food - even in Mexico. This place is by far one of the very best. The restaurant is on the small side and is often packed but it is worth the wait. They have strolling mariachi players on weekend evenings. Also great drinks and prices are very reasonable
surprisingly great This place is in a small plaza and from the outside appears to be a little hole in the wall. Once you do get in and get a seat, because there is usually a wait, it feels very authetic. Their food, drinks and service are great!
