Had the salmon over the beets and berries salad...INCREDIBLE!!!!� And the best desserts in the business!
I honestly do not know how to rate this place. The food was amazing! Our service was terrible. The server started out with what can I get you Bro? with my boyfriend. It was six dollar martini night. I would have drank two but no one asked me I wanted another. Our server spent more time bartending than checking on us. Our food was brought to us by a different person. The manager took our plates. Great place to eat, never a bad experience; exceeds expectations with quality of food and service.
We ended up at Riks Cafe by accident. We were planning to go to the Smithsburg carnival to watch The band Vinyl Rhino, but it started to rain so we continued to Hagerstown. The food was delicious!!!
We tried the bison burger & it was AMAZING! We ordered mussels as an appetizer & they were cooked to perfection, however we were really disappointed that they were only in butter (no garlic at all as described) and sprigs of rosemary. The server was ok but totally seemed rushed even though we came during a time that wasn’t busy. She left our table several times before we were finished speaking. All in all, the food was wonderful & we will definitely go again!
