This is not a post about Riedells equipment but instead a voice about the treatment of a derby icon. I don’t think anyone would disagree with me when I say that Quad is a huge reason why Men’s derby has become as big as it is. Aside from that he’s one of the nicest, funniest, and talented skaters in the derby world. I’m truly sad to read what has happened to a legend in the sport. My Reidell skates have been a constant headache. Then you choose to treat an icon disrespectfully. It’s a shame.
