I had my son at Paoli 2 years ago & all was well. Fast forward to just having my daughter here & from beginning to birth, it’s been the polar opposite - I’ve felt rushed, disregarded & think they’re just entirely too busy to properly care for patients right now. Now I’m dealing with bloodwork issues with my daughter & regret bringing her back for any type of care. I definitely would not have a 3rd child at Paoli & am done dealing with them moving forward. I cut my foot open early one morning last week on an 8x12 glass frame. Pre coffee mind you. Luckily I didn't need stitches and the x-rays showed no glass. However, not only did the doctor insist that I could go straight to work where I stand on my feet for 12 hours, working with animal feces and chemicals, she also misgendered me, and recommend that I recheck with a doctor that I have never in my life seen, and who's practice has been closed for years. I went to the hospital with chest pain and very low blood pressure they did one blood test two X-rays and came back to me and said I’m fine there is nothing they can do for me. So what that means is they read my medical history and said we are not getting into this patient history. No one gets in and out of the ER with chest pain in one hour.
RecommendedMy father had to stay on the 4th floor the end of July and (other than some therapy issues), I can't thank the floor staff enough for how much they cared for him! You could really tell they wanted what was best for him. The nurses, techs, social worker, case manager, doctors all kept his best interest in mind and helped make a difficult time in our family lives easier. RecommendedJust a shout out to the ER Nurse that was working on Sunday July 21, 2019 - Donna I believe - that took care of my wife when we arrived before 7 am. She showed professionalism, care, interest in the patient as well as telling us everything she was doing and why. We were with her for 6-7 hours before being admitted to the hospital. My wife was released on Wednesday July24 -- mainly due to the attention and care provided by ER nurse Donna.
