Dr Mentzer took me in right away, I was in so much pain. He was caring and understanding of my problem. He didnt take my insurance but he charged me a cash pay price that was affordable. I was in crazy back pain for two weeks and was referred to Dr Rick Mentzer in Port Charlotte. Wasn't sure if his office was even open and when I called Dr Mentzer answered the phone! I explained to him what was going on and was at his office within 30 minutes. He was so understanding and took all of my recent MRI's and X-rays and he began treatment. Best Chiropractor ever.
Dr. Mentzer does everything in his power to make time for patients in need of both urgent care and relief from chronic pain. He has a unique skill set that combines his insight and experience w/ his depth of knowledge.. I have seen 4 other DCs since my car accident over 17yrs ago and never have I experienced instant relief after each treatment until my visits began 3 yrs ago . My seven year old is also reaping the benefits of chiropractic care which helps her combat allergies/school super bugs.

When I moved to Florida in 2004, it took me a while to find a chiropractor that could take care of my back pain. Thank the Lord that I finally did. Dr. Mentzer is by far one of the best chiropractor's that ever existed. I now have no back pain to speak of. My sciatic pain is also gone. He is a very professional, caring, conscientious and talented human being. If you're in pain and want to try chiropractics, give him a try. You won't be sorry!
