very bad experience. poor service. not on time when promised & always had excuses. one example... i paid to have fluid and filter changed. I got home to check it...it looked dark milky brown. when questioned he replied didn't change the secondary pan fluid. thats not all ..trans.was completely out..didn't even drain the torque converter. stay away!!!!!
RecommendedBest transmission shop in Central FL. Ricky G is hardworking, honest & trustworthy. I wouldn't trust my vehicle with anybody else.

Excellent! Ricky G's stands by his work, HONEST and reasonable. That's hard to find. I understand it was formerly Grimes Transmission...his dad owned it prior, so it's a family owned and reputable, been around for years. Also, the great thing is he doesn't just do transmissions. It's a full service shop! Doesn't rip you off like some mechanics. Even gave us a ride home after dropping our vehicle off.
Worth the price While taking the wife to work my clutch began to give out. I called several repair shops and all of them gave me the run around and very inflated prices, but Ricky's was very down to earth, saved me thousands and even stand late to ensure we were happy with the service. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND that you want to be treated with respect and good old fashion workmenship, you bring your car or truck to them.
Wow, these guys are thieves.... quoated me $700 then shafted me with $1500 bill at the end (without prior authorization) and the job wasn't done completely after 5 days passed the promise date. Then this Ricky guy was like, I'm keeping your transmission if you don't pay. They already have 4 complaints with the Department Of Agriculture. I'm sure their are more unsatisfied individuals but with people's schedules today, who has the time to complain?
