Oldschool Greats Ricks was always a favorite, it may not be in Casablanca but it is sure a lot of fun. The place is always bumping and full enegry, if you are looking to dance go there. It is also cool because the crowd is for everyone, the space large enough down there that you can branch out easy, drink dance, eat, socialize etc.
Rick's Rick's has always been a big favorite at MSU. Their live music is great, and I always have a blast on their dance floor. Their free pizza at night doesn't hurt either!
Rick's American Cafe Ricks is an East Lansing favorite. A mixture of the students go there and it always proves to be a great time. There is usually a line after 11 pm, but the dj and bands are always great! On Fridays there is a live band that plays 80's rock music.
If you dye your hair don't go there!! My almost 22 year old daughter and friends tried to go to Rick's last night. She was turned away because the bouncer didnt believe her ID was legit. She had blonde hair when she got her license but now has light brown hair. Didnt even ask her details about her ID either. Perhaps management could train their bouncers better and inform them that sometmes girls actually change their hair color before they can get an updated license. seriously unprofessional.
Chad should be fired. He’s not only rude, in general, he threw a lemon at my face last night. This is the second time I’ve left the bar early because of him. And I assure you upper management will do nothing to solve the issue because Ricks does not respect women.
My backpack was stolen after I was forced To Leave it outside. I was told I was out of luck.
Im a former athlete at msu my name is Darryl. Me and some friends were looking for a good time so i had mentioned lets go to ricks so we did and i had so many great memories so much fun and nostalgia were back in my veins . and the manager that ive known for about 16 years but havent seen in 10 plus let me and my friends in for free thanks again if you want a great spartan msu party ricks the spot for dancing , beverages, and meeting new people Go green keep up the great customer service Ricks ill be back for sure.
