therapist I saw made me feel very much judged. I could tell she was "disappointed" if I brought up a certain person so learned not to say his name. I've seen several therapists over the years and I've never come across one as judgemental and condescending as this place. I felt worse than when I started therapy here they also were weird about the money and getting paid. almost felt they were taking advantage of my insurance

If I could give this place a 0 rating I would! They took advantage of me, drawing out my counseling (that I was not obligated in any way) as long as they could just to make money off of me. They were not honest about my visits, my bill, and told me that I was legally tied to finishing my sessions. Complete waste of time and money. They do not care about the client and were rude to me throughout the time I had to deal with them. Have had some really great psychologists and counselors here--have also had plenty of not-so great. Most psychologists don't seem to last long here--Richmond center seems to go through them like kleenex in an allergy clinic. One counselor is very empathetic and great at helping you to discover why you act or react the way you do and provides great info on how to help yourself; another one is very religious, never smiles, and seems to be very judgemental.
