Bo was very sick over the Thanksgiving holiday. We went to an Emergency Room for pets but I didn't like the vet or the way they handled Bo. Yesterday we went to see Dr Richman. He always has nice people working for him and Bo even managed a small tail wag for his favorite nurse. Anyway Bo was too sick for much yesterday - throwing up and diarrhea all over. Dr Richman is a friend of ours for a long time and has taken care of many dogs and cats for my family. I kept putting off spaying my Airedale Janie because I wanted to breed her. Sr Richman kept bogging me to spay her because I was so busy and kept missing opportunities to have a litter. Well last week Janie got real sick and started a real nasty smelly discharge. I went with my friend today to put her dog to sleep. Dr Richman was so vry nice to her. He brought up the many things they had all been through together and the things that my friend's dog had done to her as a puppy. He was able to make her smaile as she said goodbye to her friend. Rarely do I see humanity and compassion like that in any doctor.
I went to Vet School with Dr Richman and he has helped me over the years with my dog. I am a clinical pathologist with a major drug company and my job is very different from everyday practice. The clinic is well planned, clean and efficient. I know he has an excellent group of Vet techs working with him. So for all of you within driving distance, take your pets here. This is a DVM and a man you can trust.
I just lost my friend today to old age. Hondo helped me through many good and bad times and he was the best friend a man could have. I just had to move back home because I lost my job and moved back in with my mom and dad. Then my dog got real sick. I went to see Dr Richman, a friend from High School recommended me. He was very kind and made the diagnosis right away. That was 2 weeks ago. Today I put Hondo to sleep. I just wanted to thank the vet who was so honest with me and didn't let my dog suffer.

I've been to a few different animal hospital since my job with the government transfers me every couple of years. I've always been a stickler for clean. This is the cleanest animal hospital I've ever been in. Doesn't even smell like one. They treated me well and my cat really well, too. I think clean is what a hospital is supposed to be. I even got a tour & the whole place is well maitained with a few cool new machines that I've never seen before.
