This review is solely based on our experiences with the football/cheer program, not the softball program! We have cheered three years in a row with RYA and the disappointment has grown more and more each season. The cheer commissioner(s) and some coaches (not all) have a cold and unwelcoming demeanor about them. Emily and Kristin in particular. Very disappointed to be eliminated from playoffs by forfeit because grown adults behave terribly. These are the same parents who are a reoccurring problem with coaches who are easily egged on. You are creating a breed of athletes that value skill over behavior/character and eventually become uncoachable kids. Having to explain to my children the events of last night is infuriating. The behavior is pathetic and embarrassing .

As a parent who has watched our children compete against North Richland Hills Youth Football over the past year, I feel it’s important to speak up about a troubling pattern we’ve observed. There have been repeated instances of excessive aggression, inappropriate language, and what appears to be intentional harm on the field.
