Terrible. After an accident he wanted to put me on a long term drug. I have consistent pain but this was not related at all to the accident. I asked about other options and he told me they only could be more aggressive like surgery. He came in pre-judging the situation and was completely wrong and took no time to listen to his patient. I would definitely NOT recommend this doctor. Husband went in for a sciatica shot from him. That didn’t give him any relief and pain was actually WORSE after. Went in for a follow up and said the results of an MRI said he had a herniated disk. When we asked what a herniated disc was exactly, he said a disc that was herniated. I said explain that to us in plain English. He actually couldn’t. He said it dissolves. When asked what that means – if it actually dissolves or moves back in place, he couldn’t tell us. I get regular injections
Although he was indeed friendly, I left with no solution. If you need something more aggressive, he might be ok. If you are experiencing medium and consistent pain from a permanent issue, try to find someone who wants to offer some kind of realistic solution that might help. Everything he listed was aggressive and not necessary for medium pain which we both agreed on. He only knows how to manage extreme pain. It would have been good to leave with any sort of real option, which I did not.
Worst doctor in the planet
Dr. Noren is one of many doctors I have seen to alleviate the pain in my back. It took his researching this problem and 2 out patient procedures to reduce this pain. During this whole time he worked with me and my daughter to explain what he was going to do to fix this. His cmmunication and surgical skills are excellent and I recommend his services to others with pain problems.
Dr. Noren is the best. He has been treating both me and my wife for over 10 years. He calls us back. He always makes time to listen. A caring and compassionate man
He took the time to explain my care. He has been the most kind doctor I know.
