I was recommended Richard by a colleague. I phoned and gave a brief explanation of my case and was booked an appointment to see him by his assistant. Less than 24 hours prior to my appointment, I received an email stating that his court schedule had picked up and we would have to reschedule. I filled out and submitted the required documents and sent in by email requesting information on my rescheduling that went unanswered. His approach to family law clients is disrespectful and confrontational, often treating me as though I were a criminal rather than a client seeking legal support. Despite being new to family law, he charged senior rates while failing to file a counterclaim and releasing house sale funds without my consent. When I questioned this, he responded by terminating my representation. His mishandling of critical legal steps rendered litigation ineffective.
