I had a knee replacement October 2022 performed by Dr Martin. I could not be happier with the result. He and his team are knowledgable, skilled and caring. I have been a patient for many years. He has performed left and right arthroscopic surgery of the knee for me. I had shoulder surgery with him as well. Each was a complete success. I would not go to any other orthopedic surgeon for these issues.
I hurt my shoulder working out with a personal trainer July 2022. My PCP told me it's my age and it would heal itself. After 6 mos of pain, he finally send me to Dr Martin. Dr Martin ordered an MRI in Dec. He totally ignored the fact I had a torn rotator cuff for 6 months and treated me for frozen shoulder. After multiple cortisone shots, I went to a sports chiropractor who read my MRI and told me I had a rotator cuff tear. I took my husband on my next apt with Martin and told him what the chiro told me, he seemed upset I wa... read more
My post surgery visit went well they was able to answer the questions I had about returning to work. And was very informative about what they actually had done during the surgery. although I arrive a little late I was called back within a few minutes.
I found Dr. Martin's staff to be highly professional and friendly. Appointments were on time; no waiting and waiting in the lobby past your scheduled time. Dr. Martin and his assistant , Ryan, fully explained the partial knee replacement procedure and my concerns pre-and post- surgery. I was encouraged to reach out through email if I had any post-op concerns. I highly recommend Dr. Martin and his staff.
Very efficient office got through x-ray PA exam doctor exam and treatment all in less than an hour
I saw Dr. Martin for a Baker's Cyst and arthritis in my knee. I was hoping for a cortisone shot. They did an X-ray in the office but he didn't want to do anything else until I had an MRI. It's a good thing he did that because I have a torn meniscus and that's causing all my other problems. He scheduled surgery for less than a month away. If he had given me a cortisone shot I couldn't have surgery for at least 8 weeks. Everyone I encountered in the office was friendly and really helpful.
Doctor Martin is an excellent orthopedic. He has done two surgeries on this left shoulder and I knew he would check it out thoroughly to make sure I had not damaged the shoulder after a bad fall I had in a restaurant in Midland, Tx.
A physician who has been trained by the best, and has vast experience surgically treating complex cases with elite athletes, should translate into superior healthcare for all. Dr. Martin does not disappoint. He is tremendously intelligent and skilled at confidently assessing and treating your issues. Our family has trusted him with multiple athletic injuries/issues with our 3 kids and ourselves over the years and he always listens well, explains things, and delivers excellent care. There is no other Ortho Doc that we would s... read more
