I’ve been a patient of Seaside Gastroenterology and Dr. Caruso for over 15 years now. In all of that time, I’ve never had even the hint of a negative experience. In fact, it’s always pleasant and helpful. He quickly diagnosed a condition I had and did my procedure at the endoscopy center early the following week. He now has a new doctor (Dr. Barton) at the practice, and she is very knowledgeable, kind and caring as well. I’ve recommended them to everyone in my family and I‘d highly recommend them to anyone.
I had a Colonoscopy at the Endoscopy center with Dr Caruso. Dr Caruso and His Staff did a wonderful job. I always get extremely nauseous from anesthesia. His anesthesiologist Marva did such a good job, I didn’t get sick at all. With Dr Caruso I felt comfortable through the entire experience. I would definitely recommend Dr Caruso at Seaside gastroenterology and his amazing staff at both his office and Endoscopy Center.
Dr Caruso is the best! Not only is he warm and caring, he's a very skilled and knowledgeable doctor. I can't say enough things about him and his staff. I went for a colonoscopy, which is very stressful. The nurses and were so kind and comforting. The anesthesiologist was terrific! All I remember is saying 'hi' Dr. Caruso, and waking up in recovery. It was awesome.(well as far as colonoscopies go :)) He's an asset to the Delaware medical community. Thank you Dr. Caruso!

I am amazed at some previous comments. He was kind and caring during both my husband's and my experiences and treatment with him. His staff was professional, caring, and seemingly very well trained.
Dr Caruso is great. Office staff is unfriendly, uncaring, disorganized,incapable of thinking outside their box.
He is simply the best. No other doctor with his bedside manner and care for his patient. Very informative and explains every detail concerning the condition. A very Kind doctor.
Helped diagnose my health problem. Had the proper tests performed to confirm problem and scheduled surgeon.
Dr Caruso is a unfit Doctor told me my depression meds were the cause of consistent diarrhea and vomiting after I had already been diagnosed with colitis from the ER. My primary suggested more stool studies he wrote them then decided to change his mind and cancel them. I went to my primary she ordered the stool studies I had C'diff besides the colitis my meds had nothing to do with it. Terrible practice methods will not ever recommend! Pending contacting the state medical bd for unsafe practice.
