Great staff. They were friendly and very efficient. Got the job done without a hitch.
Dr. Caruso might be great, but I never met him. Not sure if he is actually a real person. This office is an absolute disaster. Scheduling, support, communication is severely lacking. Been waiting for a routine colonoscopy for about 6 months. Just got delayed again but now they are suggesting another Dr. who is coming down to help out with the backlog. I hope you have about 4 hours to waste waiting for 15 minutes of time with a PA for the preliminary consultation. Then lots of delays. Maybe some day I will actually get the pr... read more
I had an appointment with Dr Caruso ( who I had seen in the past and he is very nice) ..was then told would be seeing his physician assistant Patricia Greenwood. She spent probably less than 5 minutes with me and was ready to end the appointment without ever letting me ask questions that I had .. I felt like she was too bothered to answer any questions. I made an appt. with Dr. Caruso’s office in late April. The appt. was scheduled for June 2, 2022 @ 11:30 am. Along with my husband we both put the date & time in our Reminders. On June 2, 2022 arrived at 11:20 when I went to check in there was no scheduled according to the two ladies at the front desk. At no time did either one of those ladies say to me let’s get you in ASAP sorry for the mix up…..nothing. Dr Caruso and his entire staff are wonderful! Great bed side manner, caring, knowledgeable and professional. He listens and shows his attention to your thoughts n needs. Takes time to thoroughly consult n treats you like a real person n puts you at ease. - In addition The colonoscopy facility where he preforms the procedures was very clean n the staff there were also great! He has been my gastroenterologist for many years he has the best bed side manner very kind! I would recommend him to everyone and anyone! He has helped me in so many way that words can’t express I am forever grateful! His Staff is kind excellent and on point you need something it gets done! He is a great specialist, does not like to hand out medications unless they are truly needed. (Many medications can be harmful to your gut health.) I feel much better after seen by Dr Caruso
I’ve been a patient of Seaside Gastroenterology and Dr. Caruso for over 15 years now. In all of that time, I’ve never had even the hint of a negative experience. In fact, it’s always pleasant and helpful. He quickly diagnosed a condition I had and did my procedure at the endoscopy center early the following week. He now has a new doctor (Dr. Barton) at the practice, and she is very knowledgeable, kind and caring as well. I’ve recommended them to everyone in my family and I‘d highly recommend them to anyone.
I had a Colonoscopy at the Endoscopy center with Dr Caruso. Dr Caruso and His Staff did a wonderful job. I always get extremely nauseous from anesthesia. His anesthesiologist Marva did such a good job, I didn’t get sick at all. With Dr Caruso I felt comfortable through the entire experience. I would definitely recommend Dr Caruso at Seaside gastroenterology and his amazing staff at both his office and Endoscopy Center.
