I saw Dr. Drake, the appt started with walking into a strongly drenched room, they had used febreeze to mask the Lysol smell because they didn’t like it. My mom’s asthma was triggered and I had a migraine due to MCAS and a reaction to the smell. Dr Drake walked in and didn’t introduce himself just asked who the patient was and then asked why I was there and when I explained I wasn’t sure that I had an MRI and was sent there by neuro. Dr Drake was fantastic doing my back surgery. He’s very good at what he does. I would recommend him highly.
Dr Drake was very personable and questioned me with respect to my illness and came to a expected conclusion.I like him very much.
Dr. Drake performed surgery on my lower back more than a decade ago. He was a wonderful surgeon then, and now that I have a problem with my neck, he is still the wonderful doctor I remember. He takes time to listen and thoroughly explains the surgical and non-surgical options I have. He has never jumped right to surgery if he felt something else like PT or pain management would be better. I highly recommend Dr. Drake — I don’t think you could ever find a better doctor or surgeon.
