Dr Briggs performed by-pass surgery on me August 2008 at St Mary’s Hospital . I cannot thank God and Dr Briggs for his surgical talents as I’ve done very well since then and this is now into December 2021. I’d just had prostate surgery a week before when I had a cardiac event, they called “ heart attack”. After a dye test showed several clogged arteries . Dr Briggs did my by-pass surgery in September 2008, at then St Mary’s in Knoxville ,Tennessee . I didn’t know him at all, I was in surgery aug 27,2008 for prostate surgery, was told I had a heart attack while on the table. Next day was taken for a dye exam on heart. Found I had 4 blockages. Thank God for dr kyle McCoy , my cardiologist and surgeon, Dr Richard Briggs. All the nurses and anyone knew him said I’d got one of the best surgeons around. The doctor was rude and had zero bedside manner. He came in and wouldn't let me speak and when I finally had a chance he ran out of the room and didn't explain anything.
