An interesting cultural observation I never really understood why the people behind the counter at this place are so nice to Caucasians ,while unimaginable rude to colored folks ???? This is something I have observed ALL the time I have been there. Hmmmmm.... wonder what could that be???
Very hard to communicate and Rude! I must say, I order from Rice Kitchen all the time but as of today. I will not order from there any more. The person taking my order can't even speak proper english let alone pronounce simple words like cross and street. I recommend to order in person and a translator for the simple fact not speaking proper english gives them an excuse to be rude. I can not believe they are still in business. Unbelievable rude It is a shame that a restaurant like this is still operating in EL. Staff is very unpleasant and rude to customers. There is ZERO customer service. Food is below par. The owner should really assess his staff. Utterly disappointed and worst dining experience. This place should close down!
Rice Kitchen is affordable and tasty. Rice Kitchen is quick, has yummy affordable food, and has a nice staff. The combo meals are a good deal where you can get a crab rangoon or an egg roll with white rice included. They have a wide variety of Chinese food.
Overrated, sometimes I just want REALLY good chinese food. They may be one of the few restaurants open until really late, but I believe that's why they give sub-standard food to college students. I believe there are much better asian restaurants in close vicinity. I am also very big on really good rice and the diversity of foods, everything is on the greasy side and the rice is brittle now and then. Nice It's right next to our campus. Neat place to get lunch from. Usually 4.99 including entrees and egg rolls and stuff. Good for both lunch and dinnar for me though. hehe
One of the worst Chinese Reasturant This is a fu**cked up reasturant....you will see flies escorting you everywhere in the reasturant....they don't even know how to talk to customers....service sucks....food is totally crap...!
I'm disappointed! GOOD FOOD, but very bad customer service Man, the customer service is so bad!! I ordered my food through the phone, but she sounded like she's bored, and replied me with brutish tone. "Anything else?" instead of "Can I help you with anything else, Sir?" after I placed my order. Worst place to be...don't bother to go First of all if you want to dine in there..please bring in your own fly/mosquito repellent as they would want to enjoy your food more than you would. Do not bother to tell the waiter/waitress or person at cash register as they will gesture to tell you as to how to use your hands to kill the flies and mosquito.
