The doctors and staff are extremely caring. We have been bringing our cats to Rhawnhurst for years. Our two 9 week-old kittens, Bagel and Basil, just started going.�
I may have only been there for my cockatoo Baby's beak and nail trim, but Dr. Denish, along with the entire staff were extremely kind and professional. Not to mention the extensive knowledge they have when it comes to birds. There is no other place I would take her to.
Simply the best! We've been going there for over 15 years!
Honestly Dr. Denish is a fantastic Dr. He is very friendly and you can tell he genuinely loves what he does. When he enters the exam room he gets right on the floor to greet our dogs and stays there while I talk about my pups. We have 2. He is overall a great guy!! His staff is very friendly and helpful. I would highly recommend this office!

this was our very first visit to the vet. I had cats growing up but I’ve never owned my own animal as an adult. My husband and I just got ourselves a Havanese puppy and it was her first visit to Elkins Park animal hospital. The doctor made us very comfortable as well as the staff. Our little Haley behaved herself and was very calm with the doctor as the doctor was with her. We go back for our second appointment next Monday for a shot and will see how Haley behaves then. Dr Denish and the staff are the best. There are very few avian vets in the area. He helped me become familiar with my GC Conure even showing me where his ears were, Lol. He has be so kind teaching me to care for Thiago over the years and keeping him healthy. His compassion for animals is great. Thank you Vet Techs and Dr Denish.
Dr Denish and staff are the best. These guys truly care and are not about the dollars. Saved our dogs eye when another vet told me to get surgery to remove it !!!! Months later Stella is completely healed , and loving life again.
