Daughter was seen by this doctor in 2022. We believed that she had strep. The doctor was adamant that she did not have strep and stated this because "they" had not had strep cases for the last couple years. My thought..."Really, where did strep go for 2 years, on vacation?" He thought she had the flu or COVID. However, I requested that he complete a strep test along with the other tests he ordered (flu and COVID). He even completed a rapid strep test in office, which came back negative.
