My experience getting a routine checkup was (at first) great, everyone was kind and helpful and Dr. Richey was great in the appointment, told me everything looked perfect and that I'd "see for decades." However, despite not being diagnosed or treated during the appointment, the office attached a diagnosis to my insurance bill so now my insurance won't pay for it and Revere is trying to stick me with the bill. Checking with the front desk in person and the phone prior about insurance coverage is not enough, I'll assume they were just trying to keep a patient, but it feels like I was lied to. Ended up paying a lot out of pocket for this. Dr. Richey was nice, however.
I really liked Dr. Brocknank he was very personable and through. Unfortunately for me he is now on a mission and some other guy is filling in. Im not impressed with the new guy, he is not very friendly as far as his bedside manner. He spoke maybe a handful of times and that’s pushing it. I have no idea how my eyes are, He just kept doing more eye tests then wanted to schedule cataract surgery without explaining why it was such a rush to get it done. The front desk lady is annoying and ready to argue . I took a while to find the building and had to walk a long distance adding i came from a long distance I’ve been in pain since I’m a cancer patient and the treatment dries my Eyes. I apologize and i told her what happened. She didn’t show any empathy at all and just replied that we had to reschedule. she seemed not to care about patients or their health at all .
