I wish I had come here to read the reviews about Beverly before scheduling a family member with her. Besides being frivolously overcharged for an eval which had already been done elsewhere we were recommended medication that was completely unnecessary and caused adverse side effects. Thank goodness I was attentive and got my family member off of it right away. Did nothing but harm. The biggest issue was in the appointments. A lot of bad reviews about Beverly Williams. Here's mine. She's skilled. And calculating. She used those skills to hurt me to the point that I would quit. I did. I think she didn't want to deal with me. She knows what she's doing. Seeing all those reviews about her, at least I don't have to take it personally anymore.
(The only star is for the desk staff being kind) Terrible, called with my challenges, was advised who to speak with. Set up appointment, paid fee, spoke with Dr Beverly Williams a mere 12 minutes and she told me my anxiety was showing, that she would speak with a DR for me to see on the spot, for some form of medication, which I btw wasn't ever there for medication, I was aware it was a therapist type session, but she still swapped me, then told me to go somewhere else for therapy or help. My one and only visit was absolutely terrible. I met with Beverly, and was hoping to get a diagnosis that I had been looking for for about three years. To sum up the experience: The meeting lasted ~8 minutes long, and she didn't seem to care about my past experiences/difficulties with other psychologists. She essentially brushed me off and told me to return to my university counseling center to get a diagnosis, since "they know me better." Very rude and very unprofessional.
Important! Doctor Allen is a peto, and his chair has no integrity. Dont leave your children with him.
