After seeing 2 other orthopedists, I received recommendations to see Dr. Gobezie from 3 different sources. He listened to my issues and recommended starting with a more conservative approach to my shoulder issues. After a period of time, the conservative measures were no longer effective. We then opted for the total shoulder replacement surgery. I’m 3 months post-surgery and virtually pain free.
I had a tear in my right biceps long-head tendon. It cause a lot of pain with certain movements such as reaching from the front seat into the back seat of the car. Following surgery and rehab, I now have use of my arm to the same level prior to the injury. While the rehab seemed long, it is in your best interest. His online videos provide good information throughout the process. E-mails and text messages were also of benefit. It felt like there was continous contact with his office.
Dr. Gobezie is the best Doctor I have ever visited, because he listens!
Dr. Gobezie did an excellent job on my shoulder replacement. Pain was minimal and you can barely see a scar after 6 months. Still working on therapy and getting stronger.
Dr. Gobezie is an excellent shoulder specialist, providing both in-office treatment and surgery. He is really willing to work with a patient to find a treatment that is the least invasive but will still help the patient to function without pain.
I must tell you how totally dissapointed I was at today's 6wk. post-op check-up, for my total reverse shoulder replacement. After following your online rehabilitation video for the first 6 weeks of post-op surgery to the "T". I really thought I was ahead in your rehabilitation program. But after finding out this afternoon from you, and your PA that unfortunately I have not progressed to where you specifically wanted me to be. I felt a huge letdown emotionally. I am totally discouraged about this

Did reverse replacements on both of my shoulders, saved my life as far as I'm concerned, the best!
