Update 8/11: got a second notice saying im not allowed to have a window AC unit when I had one all of last year. Nothing in the lease agreement says you cant have a portable AC unit and that it needs to be provided by them in emergency situations only. I had this exact same window unit last year. Only complaint was that I didnt have the proper insulation on the sides. Unfortunately these units are OLD. The airflow is trash. My central ac works but pushes the air SLOWLY. Very quiet and safe place to live. Any issues that arise I bring them to the office and they rectify it as soon as they are able. There are lots of children in the area. Neighbors watch out for everyone and are very friendly. Keep in mind these are income based and they arent top of the line apartments (there are some pest issues[the office will send out pest control if you ask] and some units could use updates) but they will give you and your family a safe and secure place to lay your head at night. I called on Monday around 3:50pm no answer I walked to the office it was closed. Why is the office closed on the days supposed to be open? When can we come in to speak to representatives? Office staff need to do better on answering their phone call and open on the open days. I feel like they just open when they want to and close when they want to that’s not good. It’s also not the first day I have had this experience.
