Dr. Novak communicates well and is thorough in his examination. I was concerned about flashing light and floaters. He explained everything in an easy to understand manner. I would recommend him to anyone needing a retinal specialist.

My visit was at the Retina Associates of Cleveland in Beachwood Ohio. My retina had detached and the retina Association got me in to see dr. Pendergast approximately a year ago. Dr. Pendergast is a amazing retinol specialist along with his staff especially Leslie. Dr. Pendergast and Leslie are a wonderful team. I am so happy and thankful that I have found them and especially that my eyesight is normal. Thank God for these wonderful people.

Dr. Pendergast has performed two surgeries for me, a torn retina and the removal of an epiretinal membrane. If outstanding results from a gifted surgeon are what you want, then Dr. Pendergast is the surgeon you want. It could be said that he may not have the best bedside manner, but I prefer to have the best possible surgeon who truly cares for me and delivers results above my expectations versus someone to hold my hand and comfort me.

I arrived 10 minutes early for my appointment my appointment. 40 minutes of waiting I heard another patient exclaim "you had me come early and Dr. Miller isn't even here yet?" 1 hour and 40 minutes later he finally came into the exam room. Located at my eye for less than 2 minutes and said everything was ok. When he informed that I didn't need to come back; I thought I had no plans to as he appeared to have no respect or regard for other people's time.

Almost two years ago I went to Dr Coney to treat retinal bleeding in my eye. Because the bleeding was idiopathic and I was an atypical patient, we worked out a treatment plan that allowed him to follow and learn from my diagnosis as well as letting me make choices that we felt would benefit me the most. To this day, he has controlled the disorder and we have worked well together in maintaining my sight and damage to my eye. I met Dr. Coney after my ophthalmologist discovered I had a hole in my macula. I was extremely nervous once I knew that I would have to have surgery on my retina. Dr. Coney was very thorough and explained the procedure to me. As it turned out, I had to have both eyes operated on within nine months. I am doing well now because of the excellent care I received from him. He is professional but he puts you at ease. He explains things as he goes.I like to know what is going on and he explained in terms that were understandable.
