RecommendedI took Catcher here last night for what I thought was a deep laceration that needed sutures and we would be good to go. After Dr. Huffman examined him that was not the case. Thank you Dr.Huffman for taking the time to explain my options and what the outlook would be if I went one route versus the other. Thank you for taking great care of him up until I had to tell him goodbye.

Great service, and knowledge of the equine anatomy. Everyone is very friendly and very helpful from the time you pull up to the time you leave.
Everything. From the time we checked in to the time we left (3 hrs later) we were treated with politeness and total attentiveness. Dr Huffman asked lots of questions and listened to everything we said. Once he began his exam he was thorough and once he completed it he was very mater of fact with his assessment and helped us with understanding the best strategy and why.
I cannot thank Retama Equine Hospital enough for the care they provided for Sunny. This has been a hard time for us, and they put the time into sending a card thinking of us. I would highly recommend them to anyone who asked, they truly did everything they could to help out and be there for our mare. Thank y’all again so much and to Dr. Huffman especially.
They take care of your horse like it’s their own
We had a late night emergency with our goat, Alibi, on Monday and couldn’t find anyone to help us. Had a bad experience when we called his usual vet and felt frustrated and worried. Called Retama and Dr. Thometz called back quickly. She was so friendly and made us feel so much better over the phone and said she’d see him.
