I ordered a roof for a '68 GTO that we are restoring at our high school on October 21, 2021. To this day, we have not received the part. I have spoken with Tony, who claims to be the owner, and he always states that he will make sure it ships after keeping me waiting while he checks if it is in stock from the supplier. My credit card was immediately charged, but no part has arrived. The right thing to do is to send the part or refund the money. Buyers, please be aware. Ordered a B-Body floor shifter company took months to ship and when I called they had to research and and found that it was never shipped. After receiving my part I noticed the upper linkage was missing and attempted to call and emailed multiple times with no response. Needless to say I’m going to have to pay out of pocket for an entire linkage kit from another company which is pretty pricey since I have not been able to reach the Restoration Parts Source to get this resolved.
I ordered reproduction speaker grilles for the rear shelf of my 65 Galaxie from RPS, I got them just a few days later. Tony at RPS is a joy to work with and has been able to provide me with top quality reproduction parts at a very good price, give them a call!
Looking at the other reviews (which I wish I would have read before I placed an order), it looks like my experience is typical. I ordered 2 parts over 2 months ago. They charged my charge card right away. Two weeks later I called to see if it shipped. They tell me it’s on back order. Wait another month and call again. Still on backorder, they’ll try to find another supplier. Finally 3rd time I call and cancel order. 1 week later and no credit on my charge card. Now I placed a complaint with Visa. I ordered a fuel tank kit on 23 Dec 2020 and got confirmation of my order the next day and funds had been charged to my bank account. Several weeks passed and no shipment email follow up, I thought due to the holidays and C-19 I would have a longer than normal wait.
