I know I used to work there as dishwasher before, and I've missed everyone at Kunio they're my 2nd family for sharing those fond memories. I'll never forget each one of you, you're part of my vessel as my old growing family. And surely it''s a really great place to work, or spend time eating food with your friends and family,

Food is always good and consistent and as usual, food was good on this visit. But above the expected good food, service was good too on this visit for lunch. This is where it's not consistent - often service is bad and it taints the good food. Some of the 'old timers' there lack basic service pleasantries; did not see any of them on this visit. Saw new faces, it was refreshing and noticed cohesive teamwork and overall cordial customer service.
As always...great service, awesome food. We go there usually on a Friday night. We go around 730ish because the wait isn't as long. We kind of miss the dinner rush but enough time to sit and eat a good Japanese meal before closing.
My Ohana and I love eating at Kunioz because of their Ono food especially their miso butterfish and variety of sushi! 🍣 We also appreciate the customer service who makes us feel like family!! Mahalo!! 👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾
I leave Oahu on Sunday and will definitely miss this place!
My wife and I always eat here for special occasions and the quality hasn't changed in years. We always get triple combination #69. There's always a line of people but worth the wait.
