my name is niya Ellington, I went to resource August 5th 2025 discharge may 22nd 2026. my experience at resource was something im forever gonna be grateful for. the higher ups do an amazing job advocating for youth. they also do a great job making sure staff are good people. i am a completely different person from when I stepped foot into the facility to now. the clinical team is amazing, they ensure safety of residents. they get youth out the building alot to give them motivation even if they don't have family to take them ... read more
Hello, I was in here from January 29th 2025 to September 30th 2025. I would like to say that this place isn't the best for recovering from anything. A lot of the staff dont care or dont do their job. The medicine doctor, Dr osman (i dont know if thats how you spell it) doesn't listen to you about your medication and will bully you and threaten to put you in juvenile hall or another placement if you refuse your meds. This place actually really cares about the kids
I was here for 6 months, the staff were all very nice to me. Mr jack is an amazing therapist who helped me tremendously in my time there.
I was like 13 my first time here. I have been here 3 times I do believe the first time I was upstairs the last 2 times I was downstairs, there was a lot of fighting / bullying kids always fighting each other or fighting staff 3rd shift always falls asleep, some staff even bully the kids because they have favorites, they always put you on medications my therapist was Jill I did really like her she was very good to me Mrs Ebony was my favorite staff I’m not sure she works there anymore tho
