Inept staff that just say that either don't know or don't want to fix anything. 1. Billed multiple times , still dealing with it 2. Front desk staff hang up on you when calling but will say " oh well I was checking someone in"...no we could see you not checking anyone in and hanging up 3. Checked in Thursday - Sunday- room was NEVER turned down/cleaned/restocked for our stay. Call down to housekeeping- can't give a time they can clean. 4. Parking is HORRENDOUS and a high probability of dents to your vehicle waiting to happen... read more

I stayed here for almost a week during the snowstorm and it was perfect! It was so convenient for me to be able to walk up to the hospital to visit my sister. They offer garage parking, which was also great to not have to dig my car out from the snow and also because it can be tricky to find parking in Oakland sometimes. I stayed here for 2 nights and all I can say is it is a very dirty hotel. Rooms are really dirty and smell like wet dog. Towels in the room were damp. There was a queen sized comforter on our king sized bed. Fridge and microwave were not clean and stainrd. Counter was sticky and unclean. Continental Breakfast was okay- nothing special. The parking at this hotel is ridiculous and get booked up fast. The spaces are tight so cars end up taking 2 spots just to park. The hotel does nothing about it unfortunately. With my stepmother in the hospital and some confusion in booking, I thought I needed a room here but should really have been at the Courtyard. The staff very kind and understanding and helped me figure out which hotel my father was staying in. They helped me book in the right place and kindly canceled my stay at no charge. Michael at the front desk was more than helpful and so very kind!
