Clarence, the manager, made me extremely uncomfortable during check-in. In the middle of our conversation, he said, “Can you stop blushing at me?” when I was simply wearing makeup with blush on. It was inappropriate and unprofessional. When I expressed that his comment made me uncomfortable, Anna’s response was just to smile, which felt dismissive and added to my discomfort. I also experienced behavior from Anna that came across as racist and unwelcoming. Overall, this was a very uncomfortable and disappointing experience.
I recently stayed at Residence Inn by Marriott Indianapolis South/Greenwood and had an excellent overall experience. From the moment I arrived, the staff was very friendly, welcoming, and professional. Check-in was smooth and efficient, and I immediately felt comfortable and well taken care of. Always a pleasure staying here. The staff are super friendly, the rooms are fantastic and it is ideally located.
We stayed here one night traveling from Florida to Michigan. Our family has traveled all over the country and stayed in numerous Hilton and Marriott hotels. This one was in the top two nicest stays we’ve ever experienced (the other was a residence inn in Ohio) for a standard family hotel. Our room was huge, well laid out, just above and beyond any expectation. Everything was clean and fresh. Absolute 10/10. My wife and I came here for a business trip. The staff is very polite. The complimentary breakfast was very good. And the room we were in was very clean.
