I was in the area a few months back and it was a approx 15-20 minutes before they were supposed to open. This lady comes from the back and asks if I need any help, told her was in the area and wanted to try the food. Turns out she is the owner, takes me in the back way and I get to chat with the Chef and staff, very friendly, informative and welcoming. Oh man! Don't even know how to describe the deliciousness that is Republica Empanada! Anytime my friends ask me for a dinner suggestion for a place with a fun atmosphere and great food, I automatically suggest RE. Food is amazing and the service is fantastic as well. Mmmmm!!!
Amazing and delicious food from the Empanadas to the Arroz con Pollo and my favorite the Hearts of Palm and Avocado salad! A great family restaurant and gathering place in Downtown Mesa!
