Thankful for TRS After reading the reviews online I was extra nervous about going in for my appointment. Thankfully, the people who had posted either were lying or had isolated bad experiences. Mrs. I went in for a surgical abortion. Unfortunately this was my second abortion. I would recommend you spend the extra time and drive to Overland Park Kansas unless u want to be rushed through this process by a bunch of rude, twenty year old sadist medical assistants, have absolutely no opportunity to consult with a physician until AFTER you have paid, have waited 5hours and are naked on a table. Excellent Staff, Idiot Patients Why is it women always have to wine about something. This is an abortion clinic, you say its rushed! Then you complain about the wait, the wait is so long probably because everyone cannot read the paperwork they are handed and don't do their homework before they go in. I Work There I work at Reproductive Services and would like to say that yes, we do try to be fast during the check-ins in the morning. We have a certain time that all the procedures are to billed by, but the procedure itself isn't rucshed and the nurses and doctors are very nice and respectful. Better than having a baby I guess I was slightly disappointed in my experience here. As other reviewers have said the whole experience is very rushed, confusing, and impersonal. My personal experience was bad because I went in expecting to get a surgical abortion, but was too early in the pregnancy and had to do the medical abortion or reschedule. I talked to a counselor and she assured me that the medical was preferable to surgery and I would only experience 2 or 3 days of discomfort. I had severe cramping and bleeding for ... read more
HORRIBLE My involvement with this place was, from beginning to end, an absolute mess. First of all, there WERE protestors when I went there for my appointment, screaming and holding up signs of aborted fetuses. The clinic did have escorts there in the parking lot once patients arrived, but it was still unnerving. Once I was inside, I filled out the EXACT SAME paperwork they had asked me to fill out when I made the appointment. Amazing Place to get help This place is amazing. I dont understand why some of the reviews before complained about waiting. Yes it is a long process, but would you rather wait and have a baby. It takes so long do to the tests needed to make an accurate descion on what is best for you as a patient. The staff is very nice and friendly. Good service; bad patients I was specifically told by the staff that I needed to make sure that I had at LEAST 5 hours of free time on the day of my appointment, and it did take five hours. If you don't want to wait around five hours to get your abortion, maybe you should try waiting nine months to have your child. Which waiting period do you prefer? They provide you with TONS of paperwork to read inbetween sessions, so I'm not sure why people are "confused" about the process, and upset that the staff isn't "explaining" anyt... read more
