Caring Doctor – I've had a great experience with this doctor and her staff. They are the most caring and understanding people I've met. They will do everything they can to help you and will leave no stone unturned. For those of you going through infertility troubles it's hard but this office will take care of you.
Very informed doctor – I have found Dr. Cowart to be a thourough, active partner in my OBGYN healthcare. She always takes time to explain and talk to me, is never hurried but somehow her schedule works mostly on time - usual wait for me in waiting room was 10 - 15mins. They also have a number of facilities and trained staff on site - ultra sound, and can do some in house stuff like biopsies (sp?). I like her stuff, check in is a little confusing at times, but for the most part ok.
Nice Doctor if you want to wait two hours – Dr. Cowart is ALWAYS at least two hours late. Every time I go in to her office I am waiting all afternoon. She does not run tests she is supposed to, just assumes she knows the results. I went in for infertility treatments and she did not run tests!
Avoid treatment with this doctor – I had the worse medical experience in my life by far with this doctor. She compares you with hundreds of her patients the same way. You are no different or unique in her mind. I had major surgery and the pain reliever she prescribed was Tylenol with codeine for a laparotomy myomectomy type surgery. I questioned to have a stronger pain medicine reliever but she ignored my request, even after surgery laying in a bed at the hospital, she released me the very next day and refused to prescribe a... read more
