Please don't waste your time, finances or hope on this Doctor. She had me coming regularly for 3 months after I transplanted from New York. Halfway depleted my FSA account on co-pays alone. Ordered my injectibles, gave me a calendar for egg retrieval etc etc Then had her nurse call me to tell me she couldn't help me any further due to the Doctor's decision. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!! I am very meticulous about things, and this office has been more than phenomenal in helping me through my issues!!!! The office is very friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. Dr. Cowart is very knowledgeable as well, and explains everything in every day terms that you can understand. Great dr. and staff! – I'm sad to see that there are any bad reviews at all for dr. coward. she is great at what she does, as is her staff. they are friendly and knowledgable. I'm super glad I went to see dr. coward for the first time years ago, without reading reviews. they don't do her and her staff justice!

Good experience so far.. – I have seen her 2-5 times in the past 9 months,, even not so good news was alright,, she explains it all very well we are getting ready to take a journey with Dr.Cowart and i am confident she is fully aware of our needs and we only have 1 chance at this ,, and i feel she is compassionate about it ,, just my take ,, i put another positve comment on one of these sites about her and was accused of being her,, I am a patient,and feel she is very knowl;ageable ..

A living nightmare, – I agree, the worst experience ever!!!!! She told me I had to have a surgery or I would develope cancer, the surgery distroyed me, and her answer, I would get used to the pain! She refused to perscribe any pain medicine, never expressed any sympathy, said, what did I need a sex life for? I said I have known veterinarians who were kinder to their patients, now, I find these reviews - believe it, she is only looking for the $$$ and will tell lies to you. No honor or compassion. No honor or compassion.

Don't do it! Worst medical experience ever! – This doctor is simply terrible. She is very rude and unprofessional, in addition to the fact that she will tell you you NEED procedures when in fact she just wants more $$. I was charged $100 for a procedure I didn't even need. Waits are typically an hour+. The office staff is okay and the nurses are great, but do not waste your time!! USF Health has a fantastic and affordable women's department.

Run & look for better service somewhere else! – Had an awful experience @ this office with one of the staff (kathy) & the Dr. Dr. Cowart seems to push the treatment option she presents without consideration to patients concern. The only reason we came back is her great tech (Georgia),but even this 2nd chance failed,since the attitude hasn't changed,in addition to the 2 bad staff (Kathy),who we had an issue with & the worse is the new manager (Christina Hernandez),who claims to be a passionate & was trashing the other office ... read more

Invitro fortunately worked first time here...however... – I had an extremely troubling experience that shocked both my husband and me morning of surgery. I was very bothered by the incident for months. However, I give Cowart the 3 stars because the medical goal of having a successful pregnancy via invitro was accomplished and staff was friendly. I have a beautiful child and will probably return for a 2nd child because she had the magic touch the first time- Although, I personally don't care for Cowart at all as a person.

Caring, competent doctor – I have been going to this practice for three years for regular gyn care and some issues with pelvic pain. Dr. Cowart and her staff are competent and caring professionals. Sometimes I have had to wait a bit but that is because Dr. Cowart takes the time to talk to her patients and answer all their questions. She recently performed a laproscopy on me on her day off after I had to reschedule due to illness. She removed pelvic adhesions and I am feeling better.
