Rentwell lets tenants live in mold-infested bedrooms/units w/ leaking ceiling for over a year and STILL try to screw you out of your security deposit. No call backs to numerous phone calls, no responses to emails, no care but for greed. Do you want to lose 1300 dollars off of your security deposit while breathing mold in daily? I do not recommend renting from rent well because the building I am staying at is infested with bed bugs (which did not come from us when we moved in) when you call and make a complaint about having them send someone in to exterminate the bugs it takes them days, weeks, and even months and honestly I wouldn't be surprised a year. it is honestly disgusting how these people let their tenants live under these circumstances. many people and I in the building have called weeks prior to having them and I have evidence and proof th... read more

The employees that we’ve talked to have been very pleasant. The property we rented was dirty and missing appliances that were in the listing (dishwasher, microwave) and the basement trapdoor is riveted shut. The utility concierge, which is required and we had to pay for, was just about useless- we ended up setting up most of our utilities ourselves. I should’ve listened to the reviews. My experience with Rentwell Pittsburgh was disappointing due to the severe lack of communication throughout the application process. Jessica was the person assigned to my application, but after submitting everything, I was unable to get any updates from her directly despite multiple attempts to reach her.
