We finally made it after two previous tries. The food was spectacular and our waiter Cory was wonderful.. My deviled eggs and steak were cooked perfectly, and the olives and bread were a nice little surprise before our meal. I can't wait to come back again and try something else. I love Rennick's and Ashtabula! A hidden gem!
7 of us were here for a birthday celebration 7/19. We waited more than 45 minutes for our first round of drinks. Dinner took more than an hour. The bartender and server were inexperienced...not good for a Friday night. For whatever reason they were struggling, management should have been in front of it...offer a free appetizer, offer a round of drinks, offer dessert. Nice restaurant and wonderful food but twice I had lousy bar service. When I pay $9 for a glass of wine I expect more than an ounce. If you don't want alcohol with your meal, it's fine.
We have eaten here many... many times and love the food.. but we had such a bad experience tonight I don’t think I will ever recommend this place again.. sorry to say that we talked to the manager/ owner and gave him every chance to make it right.. he should of comped the drinks or offered dessert something.. he just kept saying I’m sorry you had a bad experience here.. no kidding!! Me too.. plus you double charged for our drink that your we’re going to take care of.. poor!! Epic fail.. very disappointing..

👎 The steak was overcooked and they would not make it right.
Wonderful food and service. We had the most pleasant and attentive server. Could not have asked for anything more. The hanger steak was cooked perfectly and the haluski and sauteed green beans were delicious.
Great food...my steak and fries were amazing...Brussels sprouts, delish.. 😉 service... so so... waited too long for our meal.
