Just happened upon Rennick's while on a day trip to Ashtabula County and are we glad we did! What a gem of a restaurant! Absolutely fell in love with the space, which they carefully preserved, down to the original meat locker and meat hooks hanging and ceramic tile floors! The entire staff was wonderful! Ashtabula, I hope you know how lucky you are. I dined at Rennick's two months ago and I am still thinking about the perfection of the meal. So many meat centered restaurants focus only on the center of the plate but little else. What impressed me was the care and attention to the other offerings. The sautéed vegetables were a surprising array of different things, each requiring a different cooking time to be perfect, which they were. Amazing!!!!!!!!! Best dinner EVER!! Steak was absolute perfection, service was fabulous, and the vibe was awesome!!! Not to mention the wine was on point :)

Rennick Meat Market isn't going to be a secret for long. It's worth the trip and the expense just to experience such fabulous food and service, no matter where you live. The dry-aged strip steak with Bearnaise sauce is to die for! And the vegetables...minted snow peas or the thick, just -tender asparagus spears were more than a delight. You are going to find yourself saying "mmmm!" after each bite; it's that good!
Had the best BLT ever! very proud of the new eating establishments making their mark in Ashtabula. looking forward to dining here again soon.
