Dr. Chang is joyful and efficient at the same time. I wish I'd seen her when my PCP told me I had psoriasis on my scalp. Two years later a new PCP did a biopsy and sent me straight to The Oregon Clinic - Dermatology for a deep basal cell carcinoma. On my last visit Dr. Chang found three questionable spots (cheek, forehead, and back). She treated them all, including biopsies as needed; all were negative. TYG.
Caring, warm, encouraging, treats you like a person with a condition, not a patient with a disease. Has gotten me through a few skin ca nicer diagnoses.
I've been going to Dr. Change for a number of years. She is always kind and knowledgeable. She has removed several "odd" things over the years. All of the staff at the clinic are pleasant.
All my appointments with Dr. Chang have been noticebly rushed since the purchase by the Portland Clinic. I assume they have instituted a 'quota' ?? Twice now, she has dismissed something that other Doctors diagnosed as a real condition that needed meds.
My last appointment with Dr. Chang was hurried and rushed. She dismissed my concerns about squamous cell cancer, even though I have had it multiple times and I know what it does and how that feels. I have another lesion, (on my nose,) but I am not confindent about going to her since she dismissed me thoroughly the last time I saw her. Almost like she was making fun of me. So sorry because I have had a good relationship until this point.
Dr. Chang is one of the top dermatologists - top docs - in Portland I believe. She is kind, knowledgeable and puts the patient at ease. No question, no concern, is dumb.
Great visit. Super friendly and clearly knew what she was doing. Happy to have found my new dermatologist!
