The flesh wall color was a odd choice but room was nice and property was amazing. Food was delicious
Beautiful! Had a great one night stay! Service and the rooms were great. Ate at Wit and Wisdom and loved it. Look forward to coming back to the Lodge soon!
The venue grew on me during our stay. The interior and pool area of the lobby are really lovely. Our room was spacious, clean, and the bed was very comfortable. The balcony overlooked the courtyard and pool area. It did get a little loud at night with people visiting, but it was not problematic. The location in Sonoma is good. A mile to the plaza, but we found parking with no problem and the lodge offers a shuttle and bikes. The dining, especially Wit and Wisdom, was outstanding. Benicia was a good breakfast spot.
I don’t write many reviews and this is likely a first for a hotel. All met expectations, this property executes well, but Wit and Wisdom and Benecia’s Kitchen together(good quality, service) made for best on-property food I’ve had and also consistent in that I’ve patronized both venues three times over the past two years. Last, concierge took care of us in scheduling two complimentary tastings. Worth the effort and dollars to come here again.
